I spent some time shooting 35mm film at Roaring Creek yesterday. I'm excited to send the film off to the lab (because it's the '90s right?) and see how the one roll of Ektar 100 turns out. On the way back to Ashe County, I stopped for a hike around Price Lake via the Blue Ridge Parkway. Shortly off the main trail, I discovered dozens of blue jay feathers scattered about the forest floor. I assume the bird was taken by a stealthy mink, or maybe larger bird. I took a quick shot with my point and shoot (a Canon G15, incase you're wondering). I'll post images from the creek when the film comes back, thanks for viewing!
